1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, roughly chopped
1 green pepper, roughly chopped
1 cup celery, roughly sliced
2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce
½ cup water
½ tsp. salt
1 or 2 tsp. up to 1 Tbsp. of chili powder (basically to taste; we do 1 Tbsp.)
1/8 tsp. black pepper
♦ Brown the beef. Drain.
♦ Add vegetables and cook until tender.
♦ Add remaining ingredients.
♦ Simmer 20 minutes.
♦ Garnish as desired and serve over tortilla chips or Fritos for a quick supper, snack or game time.
♦ Can make ahead and reheat and it freezes well too. So a triple batch is a good idea!
