Ingredients
  • Cook:
  • 1 Tblsp. flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
  • Cook until it begins to boil.
  • Add:
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 Tblsp. vinegar
  • Cook until thick refrigerate until cold.
  • Mix:
  • Pineapple mixture
  • 4 cups fulldiced Granny Smith Gala or some crisp, tart apples
  • 4 cups mini-marshmallows
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • 1 cup dry roasted peanuts chopped
Terri's Notes

-Mix a bit of the hot sauce into the egg before you add the egg to the hot mixture. Add the egg slowly and while stirring constantly, it keeps sauce from getting clumpy.
-mix red and green apples for pretty color
-add nuts just before serving so they don’t get soggy
