Ingredients
  • 6 slices bacon fried and crumbled
  • 1 large onion and 1cup celery diced and sautéed
  • 1 cup carrots and 1potatoes diced and boiled until tender
  • 4 Tblsp. butter or bacon drippings
  • 1 - 1 lb. can of cream style corn
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • cups milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Simmer 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 6
Terri's Notes

-can use bits of ham instead of bacon
-I use the already cooked bacon that I stash when it’s on sale!
-If I’m in a hurry, I cheat and put the carrots, onions, potatoes and celery all in the pot, with a cup of water and cook them all together until tender. It does sacrifice a little flavor, but it’s quick.
