Ingredients
  • 11/3 cups sugar
  • 2 Tblsp. quick tapioca
  • 2 Tblsp. cornstarch
  • 5 cups fresh, unsweetened raspberries
  • 1 Tblsp. butter
  • 1 Tblsp. milk
  • 1 Tblsp. sugar
Instructions
  1. ♦ Combine sugar, tapioca and cornstarch. Gently toss with raspberries and let stand 15 minutes.
  2. ♦ Prepare dough for a 9 inch, double crust pie.
    ♦ Line pie plate with first crust. Fill with raspberries. Dot with butter.
  3. ♦ Add top crust, trim and seal edges. Cut slits in crust.
    ♦ Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar.
  4. ♦ Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes, until crust is browned.
Terri's Notes

~ If the berries are ripe and sweet, 1 cup of sugar is enough.
~ I have used frozen berries.  Follow same procedure, don’t thaw first.
