Instructions
  1. Wash and Soak: ⅔ cup dry pinto beans, cook until tender and drain
  2. Brown: 3 lbs. of ground beef, drain
  3. Saute:
    ♦ 1 1/4 cups of chopped onion
    ♦ 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  4. Combine: meat, beans, onions and celery in a soup pot or Dutch oven.
    Add:
    ♦ 1 46 oz. can V-8 juice
    ♦ 2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
    ♦ 2 teaspoons salt
    ♦ 2½ Tablespoons chili powder
    ♦ 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
    ♦ 1½ teaspoons cumin powder
    ♦ 2¼ teaspoons paprika
    ♦ ½ oz. square of unsweetened baking chocolate
    ♦ ½ teaspoon white pepper
    ♦ ½ teaspoon red pepper
    ♦ 3 hot red peppers, fresh chopped or crushed dried peppers
    ♦ 1 cup water, more as needed
    ♦ dash of black pepper
  5. Simmer for at least 2 hours. ENJOY!
