Ingredients
  • 1½ pounds flank steak or top sirloin, cut into thin strips
  • 2 Tblsp. olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 large bell peppers, thinly sliced strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 oz. can of beef broth
  • 3 Tblsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tblsp. honey
  • 2 Tblsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tblsp. flour
  • 4-6 servings of rice or egg noodles, prepared
Instructions
  1. Slice steak into strips, ¼ inch thick. HINT: This is easier if it’s partially frozen.
  2. In a small bowl, mix broth, soy sauce, honey, vinegar and flour. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook onion, bell peppers, and garlic until tender, stirring frequently. Remove from skillet.
  5. Add more oil to pan and cook beef over medium-high heat to desired doneness.
  6. Add vegetables back into the pan, pour in broth mixture.
  7. Cook for about 5 minutes more, until sauce is thickened.
  8. Serve immediately over hot rice or egg noodles.
Terri's Notes

~ I like my version for the extra sauce.
~ One pan and easy prep that can be done morning of or even night before.
