♦ In a large mixing bowl or clean dish pan, mix all the ingredients with your hands,
breaking up beef until you have a hash like mixture.
♦ Gloria uses about 1/3 cup dough and 1 cup filling per Pastie.
♦ On a floured board or counter top, pinch off a dough ball and roll into more of an oval than a circle, about 10X8 inches.
♦ Center the filling on one end, fold dough over the filling to cover.
♦ Roll and pinch or crimp edges to seal.
♦ Arrange on ungreased baking sheets. Cut small slits in top of pasties or prick with a fork.
♦ Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with butter and sour cream or ketchup.
♦ Makes 16 Pasties.
