Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • Heat oven to 350°. In a large bowl combine cake mix, margarine, and egg. Mix at low speed until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 9 X 13 pan. Bake for 12-18 minutes until light golden brown.
  • 3 cups miniature marshmallows
  • Remove crust from oven and sprinkle marshmallows to cover. Return to oven for 1-2 minutes—just until marshmallows begin to puff. Let cool for ½ hour.
  • Topping
  • 2/3 cup white corn syrup
  • cup ¼butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 12 oz pkg peanut butter chips
  • In a large saucepan heat syrup, butter, vanilla and chips until melted and smooth--stir constantly.
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 2 cups salted peanuts
Instructions
  1. Remove above topping mixture from heat and immediately stir in cereal and peanuts. Spoon over cooled marshmallows and spread evenly. Chill and cut into small bars.
