Pillsbury Grands Flaky Original biscuits-1 biscuit makes 2 servings
shredded mozzarella cheese
1 bag of frozen, fully cooked, Italian meatballs-as many as needed, thawed
Italian seasoning blend
pizza sauce (your favorite or Susan’s Famous Homemade Pizza Sauce)
♦ Grease a non-stick muffin tin with olive oil, oil the edges too.
♦ Cut each biscuit in half. Make a cone shape with each half, pressing edges together to seal and press each one into a muffin cup.
Fill each ‘biscuit cup’ with shredded mozzarella
♦ Press one thawed meatball firmly into each cup.
♦ Sprinkle with more cheese.
♦ Season with garlic powder to your taste and a generous sprinkle of Italian Seasoning.
♦ Top each with a spoon of pizza sauce (or your favorite marinara sauce).
♦ Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes, until biscuits are golden and done.
♦ Serve with heated, leftover pizza sauce on the side.
~ Fast, easy, make a dozen or 3 dozen.
~ Feel free to bake without the sauce and use heated sauces for dipping.
~ Great game day snack, but perfect for after school or just add a salad for supper!
