Ingredients
  • 1 large box Crispix or Carla uses Corn Chex too, 18 oz.
  • 2 cups cashews or pecan halves 8 oz.
  • ¾ cup dark Karo syrup
  • ¾ cup butter 1½ sticks
  • cups brown sugar
  • M & M’s
  • pretzels optional
Instructions
  1. Pour cereal and nuts into the bottom of a large broiler pan, or a lasagna pan.
  2. In a saucepan, combine syrup, butter and sugar.
  3. Heat until butter is melted, stir, and pour over cereal mixture.
  4. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from pan immediately on to parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  6. When cool, break apart and add M
  7. This is very addicting! You may also add pretzel sticks to the mixture before baking
