Sauté first three ingredients in 2 teaspoons butter for 10 minutes; add beef, brown, and drain.
Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer 45 minutes.
~ This freezes very well and what a joy to have it ready to thaw for a quick supper! Serve it over your favorite pasta, ravioli or enjoy having it already made up for lasagna.
~ Don’t forget the parmesan!
