Volunteer advocates are needed in
Volunteer advocates are needed in nursing homes! Consider being an advocate!
The State of WI Board on Aging and Long Term Care is recruiting individuals willing to be a Volunteer Ombudsman in Northeastern WI. The main criterion is an interest in making a difference in the life of the residents receiving long term care in Nursing Facilities.
Volunteers will be screened and trained, then assigned to a single facility in their community. They are supported by the Volunteer Coordinator in the region and receive ongoing assistance, training, and guidance to ensure residents’ rights are upheld. Please consider giving your time to become a volunteer in this important volunteer program.
For more information, please call Kim Verstegen at 920-448-5540 or 1-800-815- 0015 today!
