Job Title:  Account Executive – Sheboygan County
Classification:  Full-Time, Non-exempt
Location:  Sheboygan County
Reports to:  Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO)

OVERVIEW:

Evangel Ministries, Inc., d/b/a The Family, is a Christian organization that broadcasts the hope of Jesus Christ to strength and encourage listeners in our communities to draw closer to Christ.   We are a fun, dedicated and supportive group that serves God in all we do.

The Account Executive will build relationships with businesses, churches and non-profit organizations throughout Sheboygan County and secure underwriting sponsorships.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Uphold and live out Evangel Ministries, Inc.’s mission, vision, and statement of faith.
  • Represent the station(s) to businesses, churches and non-profit organizations with integrity.
  • When appropriate minister, pray, and share the gospel with sponsors and listeners.
  • Be actively involved in a local church.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Initiate face-to-face contact, develop and maintain strong working relationships with all clients i.e. lunch meetings or at their place of business per designated territory or account list.
  • Proficient in prospecting and aggressively seeking new clients by networking, cold-calling, canvassing, referrals and other means.
  • Prepare spot proposals, agreements, and schedules for potential and current sponsors.
  • Prompt follow-up service is required at the desired pace of the sponsor.
  • Develop radio script concepts in coordination with the sponsor and the stations copywriter.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate client files containing past agreements, orders, and scripts.
  • When necessary, record client’s spot at their place of business.
  • Attend station promotional events as needed i.e. concerts, live remotes, business expo’s, etc.
  • Attend training seminars as determined by the Chief Business Development Officer.

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High-energy/self-motivated – able to work with minimal supervision while achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Compelling – excellence in motivating potential clients to see the benefits that The Family and its mission will bring to their business.
  • Teachable – open to correction as well as willing to adapt to market changes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Requires working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook software packages.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • College graduate preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience with a track record of being a top performer.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Provide own transportation to travel to customer locations – Gas allowance provided. Requires a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and proof of insurance.

The Director of Donor Relations position will develop, design, and execute fundraising program and strategies of all types. Actively recruit and manages donors by engaging them in The Family’s mission and securing financial support.

  • In partnership with the leadership team, help create strategic long-term goals and plan.
  • Guide those under your supervision in making sound and balanced business decisions that will further the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Minister, pray and share the gospel with listeners and donors.
  • Be actively involved in a local church. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a hands-on position that will call for the quick design and execution of fundraising strategies of all types (grants, capital campaigns, events, sponsorships, but focusing on large private donations) that yield results quickly and without unnecessary gestation periods (we know that development requires relationship building and we are not referring to the necessary steps of building an audience).

  • The Director will oversee all aspects of yet-to-be-designed fundraising programs as well as create fundraising goals and solicit funds to meet these goals. He or she will develop new donor bases and organize initiatives to solicit funding.
  • Actively recruits and manages corporate, community, and individual donors, engaging them in The Family’s mission and securing financial support.
  • Manages, implements and evaluates various campaign events and activities per The Family’s recognized best practices, benchmarks, and timelines and work with staff to achieve goals and outcomes.
  • Knowledge, expertise and understanding of marketing communications and print materials as they relate to donor development. Graphics knowledge a plus.
  • Prepares or assists with budgets and ensures compliance with allocated funding.
  • Conducts active community networking and outreach through 5+ face to face meetings on weekly basis with current and prospective donors.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Certification specializing in Fund Raising credentialed from the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) International.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Level Degree
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance or related field required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with proven results in fundraising and donor development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage leadership volunteers to achieve results
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • We will be relying on your extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you’ll be performing a variety of tasks including, eventually, leading and directing the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

An experienced content Marketer who can collaborate with others to develop and execute targeted, relevant, personalized content across digital channels. Use analytics and SEO tools to identify content trends and assist in content planning. Experienced with graphic and content design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Use analytic platforms to understand engagement to drive content strategy
  • Diversify and proactively bring ideas for content, promotions, video scripts, contests, blogs, etc.
  • Manage and contribute to Marketing content calendar planning and testing strategies
  • Identify content trends and opportunities
  • Stay up to date on SEO best practices
  • Ensure brand consistency and writing standards are integrated through all marketing materials. This includes accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Assist with Digital Strategy where needed
  • Videography knowledge and editing

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in digital marketing, usability, web development or related field
  • Experienced writer and editor for multiple channels and formats
  • Expert in graphic design, video creation and editing
  • Experience in collateral creation, internal and external communications, digital marketing such as web content and email campaigns, direct marketing, advertising, and media relations
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and keep abreast of changing digital environment
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience; strong digital knowledge and proven track record in executing digital marketing strategies and solutions in small to medium businesses
  • High degree of passion for customer focus; experience using voice or customer, applying best practices and utilizing analytics to drive usability and optimization
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet timelines and budget
  • Solid working knowledge of search engines, social networks, digital analytics
  • Strong analytical ability and natural curiosity
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Good personal presence. Confident.

OVERVIEW:

Evangel Ministries, Inc. operates the group of radio stations known as The Family and is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant.  This position will answer incoming calls, greet visitors, data entry, perform administrative tasks, typing and merging letters, memo and running reports.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Uphold and live out Evangel Ministries, Inc.’s mission, vision, and statement of faith.
  • Provide servant leadership as patterned by Christ. Compassionate, speaking the truth in love, soliciting feedback, spiritual maturity, fostering an atmosphere for the EMI team to flourish.
  • Minister, pray and share the gospel with listeners and donors.
  • Be actively involved in a local church.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Main receptionist – Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Greet visitors and serve them appropriately.
  • Take prayer requests and pray with listeners, as needed.
  • Enter and maintain donor records; merge and mail thank you letters; monthly and year end responsibilities; enter other A/R receipts.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Support the CEO with Administrative Duties
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, faxing, organizing, mailing, etc.
  • Organize and order office supplies, organize and issue various print materials, etc.
  • Attend promotional events, as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong people skills.
  • Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including experience with mail merging.
  • Professional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Organized and detail orientated, self-starter, have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Cooperative and a team player.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of listener, clients, staff and company information.
